Diagnosing Depression
A licensed mental health professional will take time to understand what you’re experiencing. This may include a discussion about your symptoms, medical history, and emotional challenges, along with simple questionnaires to help clarify the type and severity of depression you’re facing.
We provide support for a range of depression types, including:
- Clinical Depression
- Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
- Persistent Depressive Disorder (Dysthymia)
- Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
How Is Depression Treated at Our Center?
We take a whole-person approach to depression care, blending proven therapies with personalized support. You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong—just that you want to feel better. Here’s how we help:
Therapy That Works
We offer one-on-one and group therapy options using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thinking patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation and coping, and trauma-informed care for those whose depression is linked to past experiences.
Medication Support
Some people benefit from antidepressants or other medications as part of their care. Our team will work with psychiatric providers to find a plan that supports your mental and physical well-being, while monitoring your progress closely.
Lifestyle and Holistic Support
We’ll also look at everyday habits that impact mental health, including gentle movement and physical activity, sleep routines and nutrition support, mindfulness and stress reduction strategies, and optional expressive or creative therapies.
Flexible Outpatient Programs
You can get help without disrupting your entire life. We offer several levels of care, including Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for structured, full-day treatment; Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with several therapy sessions per week; General Outpatient Care for ongoing support; and optional sober living for clients who need a stable, recovery-focused home environment.
